The Patient Portal is a web-based service that grants patients secure access to portions of their electronic medical record and to communicate with their medical practice providers online about non-urgent medical and administrative topics.

Any active patient may be eligible to register for and use the Patient Portal. If you are authorized, a family access account can be created that will allow you to access selected family members’ health information.

The Patient Portal allows patients to manage their personal health information at their own convenience. You will be able to:

  • Browse health facts and information
  • Communicate with your doctor by sending and receiving secure messages
  • Make secure credit card payments
  • Manage your personal information and contact preferences
  • Request prescriptions and refills
  • Retrieve test results
  • View personal health information
  • View your billing statements and balance
  • View and request appointments

All communications between you and your provider’s office are carried over a secure, encrypted connection. This secure connection utilizes industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption to ensure secure data transmission as well as server-side digital certificate authentication. To prohibit unauthorized access, all medical information is stored behind our firewall in our electronic medical record system.

As a family member, the patient or the practice must invite you to access patient information on behalf of the patient. You will then be prompted to create your own family access account. You may be given either full access to the patient health record, or billing access, which is limited to billing and messaging.

Your access level is managed by the patient or the practice. If you have access to multiple patients with your family access account, you will have access to all patients you have been invited to view through your same email and password login credentials.

Sign in using your email and password. You will then have the option to choose which patient’s portal account to view.

Your provider’s office will make every effort to respond to your messages within one business day. Please do not expect a response on weekends or holidays. If you need to speak with the office sooner, please call the office directly. Urgent matters should not be dealt with via the Patient Portal. Also in some cases, depending on your questions, your provider may request that you schedule an appointment, so the provider can better address your questions.
